Data protection

The subject of data protection is very important to us.
At this point you will find valuable information about your personal data protection.

What is automatically saved by our hoster

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. This information includes access data:

  • Name of the accessed website
  • Date and time of retrieval
  • data volume transferred
  • Message about successful retrieval
  • Browser type and version
  • the operating system of the user
  • Referrer URL (the URL referring to our website, e.g. Google search)
  • IP address and the requesting provider.

The provider uses the protocol data only for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation, security and optimization of the offer. However, the provider reserves the right to check the protocol data subsequently if there is a justified suspicion of illegal use based on concrete evidence.

How we handle personal data

Personal data is information with the help of which a person can be determined, i.e. information that can be traced back to a person. This includes the name, email address or telephone number. But also data about preferences, hobbies, memberships or which websites have been viewed by someone else are considered personal data. Personal data is only collected, used and passed on by the provider if this is permitted by law or if the users agree to the collection of data.

How we protect your personal data

We have taken technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data from loss, destruction, manipulation and unauthorised access. Our security measures are continuously revised and optimised in line with technological developments.

If you use one of the services on our website, your personal data will be transmitted to us. To prevent it from falling into the wrong hands, we encrypt it using the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) method. The SSL procedure is currently the most common and safest data transfer procedure on the Internet.

How the SSL process works

With the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) procedure, data that a customer sends to a company's server via the Internet is protected. SSL provides triple protection:

  • Your entries to be transmitted are encrypted.
  • It ensures that the form is only sent back to the server from which it was opened.
  • It is checked whether the data reaches its respective recipient completely and unchanged.

SSL is always used when you see a small (usually green) lock on your screen in the bottom left-hand corner of the status bar of your browser.

What we save with a contact request

When contacting us via our contact form, the user's details are stored for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event that follow-up questions arise. We will not pass on this data without your consent.

Integration of third-party services and content

It can happen that within this online offer third party content, such as videos from YouTube, map material from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites are integrated. This always presupposes that the providers of these contents (hereinafter referred to as "third-party providers") are aware of the IP address of the users. Without the IP address, they would not be able to send the content to the browser of the respective user. The IP address is therefore necessary for the display of this content. We make every effort to use only such content whose respective providers use the IP address only to deliver the content. However, we have no influence on this if the third-party providers store the IP address for statistical purposes, for example. As far as we are aware of this, we inform the users about it.
